China borders finally open for all...

China finally REALLY opens all borders on February 6th. No more PCR Tests required, more borders open….

This is the latest news: RTHK: All checkpoints to open as cross-border curbs lifted

The Key Points Are:

  • Lowu/罗湖/Luōhú open on February 6th. MTR trains will run at pro-covid frequency (~10 trains per hour)
  • No more quaota! You can just go
  • No PCR Test required - if you have not been outside Hong Kong less than 7 days (means just arrived tourists/locals do need a PCR test). Mainland China and Macau are not considered outside
  • Not related to Mainland China, but all Covid tests for people travelling between Hong Kong and Macau will be dropped and the vaccination requirement for inbound visitors will be lifted, also from February 6.

Finally, after three long years things get back to normal!

We will keep an eye on the 5-Day-SHenzhen-Visa and check for changes as soon as possible!
