Now, 3 month later no change for the border situation, but many changes in Hong Kong and China.
What did happen lately:
- In 2022 Hong Kong went from near zero Covid to 60,000 cases per day with many death to follow
- China still has a only few cases, but their zero-covid strategy has many issues and is not sustainable forever
The social cost in China with lots of testing, lockdowns, restrictions is very high. It does look that Corona is here to stay. Time to get ready and accept the new world with corona.
