No more 5-Day-Shenzhen-Visa for US passports! Entry was refused!
We received some reports that US passport holders where refused the 5-Day-Shenzhen-Visa at Lowu/Luohu border crossing with Hong Kong.
This is most likely due to the current tit-for-tat trade situation with the new US government.
The 5-Day-Shenzhen-Visa was refused and no reason was given (a visa, any visa can be refused for any, or no reason at all). Travellers had to return to Hong Kong. No fine was given. Travellers do lose at least the MTR ticket (at least HKD 26.50 x 2 - HKD 53.00)
